Well, I’m off to Cotacachi for another visit, this time over the Christmas holidays. I’m looking forward to seeing how it is celebrated there. I am also looking forward to seeing good friends Chuck and Susan Bussey, Roger and Malena at Athena Homebrew, Don Simms, and Doc at my favourite watering hole. I messaged Wilson, our original guide from the very first trip. He is currently working in the Galapagos Islands but should be back on the mainland in time for a visit.
I blast off tomorrow afternoon with Aeromexico with a two hour layover in Mexico City. I arrive in Quito early Friday morning. My favourite driver Guillermo or his brother will be waiting to take me to Cotacachi, about a two hour drive.
