I have been back to Cotacachi, Ecuador so many times that I lost count. During my extended stay in 2024/25, I made this video for the Cotacachi Pickleball Club, which I am member of. It was shown to the mayor and council shortly after to help garner support for the club and the facilities they use.
They were impressed and I hear that now they have outdoor lighting, and permanent nets installed and several new sports facilities in and around Cotacachi have had lines painted on the basketball courts and storage lockers placed to keep equipment on each site, not because of my video, but from the hours of dedicated work that Stacy Loesch and others have put in.
